"For nearly a decade, musical innovation has gotten me out of bed on the darkest mornings—and had me smiling as I made the bed. Anchored at the intersection of NYC's vibrant music scene and the unapologetic spirit of Virginia's rock subcultures, my artistry bears witness to a collision of influences that shaped my genre-hopping musical sensibility."

Maksym Redko is one of Ukraine’s leading pianists, a master of spontaneous jazz improvisation! Mr. Redko is the author of "The Theory of Harmony of Music", the first written work that simplifies and comprehensively explains the laws and principles of precisely creating musical works of any genre, style, and time period. It is the only theory of music reaching the very core of musical logic, looking into every corner of the meaning of sound construction, and leaving no gaps in comprehending the science of the structure of music. He is not just a talented musician, but rather a pioneer who changed the entire system of music education.
Mr. Redko has performed nationally and internationally in various venues in Ukraine and throughout Europe. This includes, but isn't limited to, the National Philharmonic of Ukraine; Red Hall of the R. Glier Kyiv Municipal Academy of Music, and the Leopolis Jazz Festival.
Most recently, Mr. Redko served as a teacher in the Department of General and Specialized Piano at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine. Mr. Redko gives master classes on music harmony and improvisation principles globally and teaches in Russian, English, and French. His students begin improvising from the very first lesson!
I started playing trumpet when I was thirteen years old. I have been fascinated with the instrument since my first spark of inspiration from a trumpeter with 30 years of experience. I wanted to learn how to play like that someday, so I strived to be the best, and I have not stopped since. I became a Symphonic Band member in my sophomore year of High School, eventually making my way to First Trumpet. Later, I gained more experience by making the All-State Symphonic Band, eventually winning First Prize in a Scholarship Performance at Nyack College.
My biggest treasure has been the gift of music because it has given me great opportunities, like the unforgettable Jazz Tour in Italy. I now take my music skills not just locally but also internationally, I thank God for the gift he has given me for music.
I specialize in Jazz, Latin, and Classical music. Nothing makes me happier than satisfying others by sharing the power of self expression through music.
